Friendly Snake - STL File
Welcome, the Friendly Snake. Here we have a little snub-nosed snaked to keep you company at your desk, in your car, or even in your pocket. A cool sculpt I did after seeing an image of a cute little coiled-up snake and wanted to have one of my own (without actually having a real snake!)
My Print Settings:
Software/Hardware:
Prusa Slicer 2.4.2 - Creality3D CR-10 Printer PLA
These are the settings used for the snake print you will see in the reference images. These can be modified in many different ways for varying results.
_Settings:_
Print Settings: 0.20mm Normal
Layers and perimeters:
Vertical shells perimeters - 3 (2 should probably be fine too)
Ensure vertical shell thickness - unchecked
Infill:
Fill density: 10%
Fill pattern: Adaptive Cubic
Those are the only settings I adjusted for my specific printer in Prusa, everything else was left at default settings. With the snake scaled at roughly 3in diameter, the print took about 6 hours to complete.
